T-Total – Robert Michael and DJ Tasty Tim originally gave the early 70s Eno classic an electro remake in 2004 when Tim was deejaying at a Cavalli fashion show. It went down so well they’ve revamped it complete with vocals from Marc Almond, who turns in an incendiary performance. Glad he’s bounced back so soon and so full on. The dub’s even more chaotic, hitching a ‘you got to burn’ loop over the riff from Sparks’ ‘This Town Ain’t Big Enough For Both Of Us’. The flip’s ‘Take Me Away’ is sleazy and grinding with a touch of Marc’s old group in the atmosphere. The dub’s even filthier. Great to have him back and it’s a bonus he’s riding such a killer backdrop. Flame on!
