Sweden’s production outfit Threshold turns out a pumping tribal beast that’s pushing all the right buttons. Chunky beats, groovy percussion, raw guitars, a spaced-out breakdown and the vocals of Sonify create a big sounding chugger that reminds you of old-school Deep Dish, only fatter (also Damien Heck remix). Staying close to Washington DC in spirit, DJ Seph’s portuguese label drops its second tasty release with the very Alcatraz sounding ”Show U The Way’ (dreamy synths added) and a remix from Chris Micali.
