2005 could be a very good year for dance music – new sets from the Chems, Moby and Daft Punk already in the can, and the return of the original prog-meister Timo Maas. From his upcoming ‘Picture’ long-player – these tow instrumental offerings are widely available as downloads ahead of the albums release in May, where Brian Moloko will feature on the first ‘official’ single ‘First Day’. In the meantime this limited edition vinyl release pairs the Stripped back and deconstructed burbling bassline of ‘Feedback Welcome’ with the equally sanitised starkness of ‘Massive Passive’ – the latter reeking of Daft Punk influences.
