Sad news for technoheads – from now on releases on Carl Cox’s Intec will only be releasing its fine music in digital form. As some of my DJ mates – normal local blokes without computers – have said, ‘What the fuck am I gonna do now?’ It’s a shame because, cloaked under this new anonymity lurks a firing four-tracks from Trevor with titles like ‘Jack Your Body’ and ‘Stomp Your Feet’ in the best Windy City tradition. ‘Free’ boasts great old skool ingredients and hypnotic pads. A real nod to the warehouse – but in sound only.
