A much-documented release on Nicholson’s pages in recent months, but I think we can forgive anyone for wanting to shout loudly on officially remixing such a staple track in dance music history. Originally released in 1993 and produced by Sean Quinn & CJ Dolan, Dreams went on to become an unrivalled club classic that also spawned later classics such as Lost Tribe’s ‘Gamemaster’ and Miss Shiva’s ‘Dreams’. Nicholson captivates us from the off with a driving rework for 2018 that harnesses most (if not all) the key ingredients from this anthem. It’s no surprise that this was voted Armin’s ‘Future Favourite’ from this week’s A State Of Trance, and I for one have this shortlisted for my new Hard Trance Europe compilation. A fantastic update of this TDV and Carl Cox championed classic that will certainly be getting a lot of love wherever played!
