RatPack have been tearing up the rave since the 80’s and for that fact alone you have to admire
their longevity within what can be such a fickle industry at times! Trends come and go but if there is oneDJ/MC duo that is never far from the next rave flyer it is of course RatPack! Cementing themselves onto copied cassettes and bedroom walls in the early 90’s with their unique rave chants and dominating presence, they quickly became professionals at giving people exactly what they wanted and won many life-long fans in the process! Fast forward to 2017 and the album (Co)LabRats has just hit the digital shelves, as you guessed, it is a selection of collaborations with Mark and Evenson really calling in the favours on this project! It’s great to see them trying to push new ground with fresh cuts featuring The Freestylers, Ragga Twins and Mc Skibadee!
If you are after those classic RatPack feel-good vibes head straight for ‘Hands Of Time’ (featuring The Wideboys), ‘Time 2 Jack’ and ’Let Yourself Go’ (feat Slipmatt’). In the meantime ‘Searching For My Rizla’, ‘Captain Of The Ship’ and ‘Clipper’ all get a special reworking for the oldskool crew, so there really is something for everyone. Put a smile on your face and check this out today!
