Rich Wakley – Bumpin EP – Suara

Production powerhouse Rich Wakley lands on the almighty Suara label with this party-starting 3 tracker and I’m finding it hard to pick out a favourite. ‘Bumpin’, ‘That’s The Joint’ and ‘Off The Chain’ all give a big nod to the early 90’s house sound, all fused into a bed of modern production techniques and analogue bass. This whole EP will do the damage equally on a big club rig or in your friends kitchen and, although there are a lot of producers attempting to emulate this sound right now, Rich has ultimately nailed it and treated the samples with the right amount of caution. Hot remixes are also included here from Wade and Superlover which brings this EP up to a total of 5 essential tunes for those that like that jack!
