It’s a pretty big and brave risk to take on any track associated with the late great Frankie Knuckles, so when this landed in my inbox, there was a tinge of nervousness before hitting play. In truth, it’s primarily a reconstruction of Intense ‘Let The Rain Come Down’, with the dripping and dropping vocal element from FK’s ‘Tears’. Overall, it’s pretty faithful and respectful to both tracks, very well produced and features a great vocal from Duriel Daley who nails that New Jersey sound to a tee.
