Tasha LaRae, in my personal opinion, is one of the best female voices we have on this planet-not even within the House Music scene. I think her voice holds up any comparison with stars of the game like Beyonce. Her new track for DJ Spen’s always reliable Quantize imprint first appeared on the labels’ Miami sampler from earlier this year and since then has remained on DJs USBs. Now the track gets an official release with new remixes by Spen and Reelsoul. The new versions add some more spice to the soulful Original with stronger beats, a wobbling bass line and superb synths. Having just told you how much I love Tasha’s voice, my personal fave of the pack is the ‘DJ Spen & Reelsoul Vibes Dub’ simply because I love vibes and they are executed in a very good way here. All in all another essential release from Quantize.
