New underground offshoot of the Ego label sees Da Lukas follow ‘EP1/Keep On’ with a brace of proper floor burners. The title cut builds on funk-infused groove and swelling chords offset by cool trumpet, ‘Blew’ getting more percussive with further cool brass while ‘Return Of The Friendly House’ maintains the fiery latin-funk undertow. Cracking summer whoopee all round.
