Kenny Glasgow
Something Special EP
My Favourite Robot

As I’ve said before, Ken’s debut album will stand like a bison’s stiffie as one of the year’s electronic peaks but, not content with that, the Canadian wonder-kid continues to whack out fresh tackle. ‘Something Special’ breaks out bleepy rave riffs over deep Detroit-flavoured counterparts topped with shadowy vocal, all the lushly haunting effect. The remix come from James Teej chugging with a supremely moody riff. The second tune, ‘Jump In The Air’, is skippy, dubby and topped with shouty bloke. Remixes come from My Favorite Robot adding electro dimension with nasty acid snarl and deep space chords before Andrew Vandemeer uncorks a subtle web of night-stalking deepness.
