After enjoying last year’s edition, I very much welcomed an advance copy of the 4th edition Tiburon Double CD. Compiled and mixed by trusted residents Lorenzo al Dino and Arnold each year, not only to represent the laid-back atmosphere of Formentera but an insight also into their summer soundtrack at the island’s leading beach club, Tiburon. Spanning two heavenly discs ‘sunset’ and ‘sundance’ respectively, the quality is extremely high across the board. From the seductive opening chords of Third Attempt’s ‘Shoreline’, to Just Her’s magnificent ‘Forget Our Love’ via more dance floor inspired cuts, ‘Zero7’ from Deep FM, there really is something for everyone on the beach (or the floor). Yet another well thought out and perfectly mixed compilation from one of the best sunset locations on earth.
