If you like hard hitting house sounds with real balls, then you probably already know the CUFF label. If you don’t, then where have you been? Run by French duo Amine Edge & DANCE, it is now back with another firing offering that features three hot cuts, one of which is a remix by the boss men themselves.
Tim Baresko provides the other two and is someone with a fine grasp of groove. He links with Mike Palladino for the first track and it is a rough and ready house number with baskets of bass, Chicago percussion and naughty vocals that will surely get any club going. The remix for the label bosses has an old school feel to it thanks to the cut up vox and banging drums, and gnarly, nagging sine waves also help add grit and texture tot he groove. Last of all, Needness keeps you on your toes with a bobbling drum line and metallic percussive sounds that come laden with real funk. It is another standout cut from this artists and rounds out a rewarding EP for both dancers and DJs.
