Tonbe ‘Neon Nights EP’ (HOT DIGITS)

Spiced up 80s Disco grooves with a hint of Electro are not exactly my cup of tea normally. So it takes exceptional production to catch me, which is the case right here. Miloš Đorđević aka Tonbe, the Serbian Disco machine and owner of Disco Fruit records returns to Hot Digits Music with this super fresh 4 track EP of some serious house/nu-disco hybrid tracks. Neon Nights is an all out Originals package with Tonbe really flexing his production muscles with flurries or French House, Daft Punk-esque cut up beats and Italo tinged peak time headiness.
So what you get is a mid 80s inspired Disco/Electro fused EP that is really nicely put together. The main attraction however is label honcho Fingerman’s revamp of title track ‘Neon Nights’ which is truly inspired by the 88 Acid revival and comes with more housey beats and a groove that catches you from the very first listen.
Top one, nice one, get sorted!
