1. Boo Williams- Day and Night / Rush Hour
The label is great and Boo is an amazing producer too, so the combination works to perfection. Great release overall.
2. Herb LF- Sunliner / Farside
This guy has become my new favorite producer over the last year. Anything he does is fire and this track has a great hook to it.
3. M A N I K- Park To The Slope EP / Ovum
Every time I drop any of the tracks on my debut Ovum EP it goes down like
Park To The Slope get the best reactions and N Train To Astoria kills anything in site with its 303 line + Deep Rhodes combo.
4. Hot Natured- Equilibrium / Culprit
I just got the promo on this record from the Culprit guys. This is a beast of a tune and easily one of my favorites for 2010. The Droog boys have a great ear for unique/interesting dancefloor music, which is what sets their label apart from the masses.
5. Bernard Badie- Time Reveals / Mojuba
This is a classic joint that hits every time- huge fan of Bernard’s stuff.
6. DJ Mujava- Township Funk (Crazy P Mix) / Fabric
This is just one of the funkiest and coolest tracks I have heard in a while. Big up to Crazy P for this dope remix.
7. Kris Wadsworth- Deep Inside / Dark Energy
Kris and I are real tight and this is my favorite of his records. He has such a great feel for making unique music, which really makes an impact both for the mind and body. This track is just ridiculous. Period.
8. Alexander Ross- Distance / Deeply Rooted House
This is just a great peak track. It has this relentless dub techno vibe.
9. M A N I K- Shutterfly / Four:Twenty
This is the B side to my Four:Twenty ep . I’ve opened a lot with this one. Steve Bug plays this one out a lot, which is a huge stamp of approval. Big up to Steve!
10. Soul Clap- Love Light / Wolf + Lamb
This is a straight Stevie Wonder Bootleg, more or less an edit, rather than an original, but it is the best version I have heard. These boys did a nice job and it goes down really well.
