Lewis Dene – top 5

1.    Duck Sauce ‘Grand Steppin” (Fool’s Gold) – Armand & A-Trak add some classic MFSB Philly disco to this killer cut up

2.    Solitaire & Katherine Ellis ‘You’re Mine’ (Muzik-K) – I love just about every word this lady sings and to have the opportunity to work with the flaming hair assassin was fantastic – Katherine’s a real star and has such an amazing energy… oh and K-Klass rocked it proper old skool stylee on their mix!

3.    Eddie Thoneick ‘Flash, Dance, Shout’ (Eddie Thoneick Bootleg) – I’m a huge ET fan and his cheeky mash-up of Tears For Fears, Green Velvet and more is seriously on the money

4.    Louis La Roche ‘Sunshine Hotel’ (Ever After) – if filter disco is your thing it gets no better then this one – a real late-’90s throwback

5.    Eleze ‘Glory Box’ (7th Heaven Remix) (Ego) – an amazing version of the old Portishead tune totally transformed and turned inside out

Albert Castillo – top 5

1.    Alan Braxe & Fred Falke ‘Intro’ (Bart B More Remix) – one of two killer new mixes currently doing the rounds. Don’t ignore the equally hot Stent & Whiteheads porn house mix either

2.    Solitaire ‘You Got The Love 2009’ (Kandi Re-cut Mix) (Hed Kandi) – a very Duck Sauce-styled remix of that classic tune that we made exclusively for the new ‘Pure Kandi’ compilation

3.    K-Klass & Reza ‘Finally’ (Muzik-K) – yet another crowd pleaser in the form of this number built around Julie McKnight’s spin chilling vocals

4.    Rod Carrillo & Shafali ‘Here We Come (Ready Or Not)’ (Carrillo Music) – a recent remix I did for a good friend of mine that’s already getting a lot of radio support in America

5.    The Cut ‘Better Days’ (Avicii Remix) (Vicious) – Lewis turned me onto this label and I’ve loved everything since. One of Avicii’s best mixes yet in a retro piano-house style

Solitaire & Katherine Ellis ‘You’re Mine’ will be released on December 7th 2009 on Muzik-K Records UK.
