Trainspotting with PAGANO’s Top 10 tracks JUNE 2022

Deeply rooted in Italy’s techno culture, legendary Trade DJ and Producer, Pagano, is heading up Egg LDN’s Pride Special on Saturday July 2nd with his OFF LDN collective.

From his album debut ‘Infinite Regress’ on his KISM label to topping the Beatport Techno charts with his Transfiguration EP on Christian Smith’s Tronic label, Pagano numbers fans such as Pig & Dan and Cocoon’s Karotte. With releases on Mark Knight’s Toolroom Trax label and Tronic, Christian Smith has just remixed Pagano’s new “Panta Rhei” with the Original Mix heavily supported by Drumcode’s Adam Beyer in his radio show and live DJ sets creating a big buzz.

Still massively in demand on the international DJ wise this summer with dates in Montreal, San Diego, Paris and Madrid, Pagano also joins the new Berlin’s Love Parade called ‘Rave The Planet’ playing on the Tronic / B:East truck. That evening he plays the official Rave The Planet After-Party in a Tronic Showcase alongside Christian Smith, Drunken Kong, Denise Schneider, Kaiserdisco and Ramon Tapia.

Pagano’s Tronic Live stream during lockdown racked up thousands of views and plays on Facebook and he continues to defy categorisation spicing up both house and techno dance floors with his cutting-edge sounds.

1. ‘Panta Rhea’ Remixes – Pagano (Tronic)

After the Original saw multiple plays from Adam Beyer in his DJ sets and Drumcode Radio Show, Tronic legend and label boss Christian Smith got on the case and alongside NYC’s Agent Orange they deliver two massive remixes.

2. ‘Don’t You’ Pagano Remix – Mauro Picotto & David (KISM)

I’ve worked with Mauro on and off for 20 years. I was so honoured to sign and remix this new project with Devid. Already getting radio plays across the board from Rebuke and Hi-LO to Paul Van Dyk.

3. ‘Crash The Party/Off The Hook’ – Pagano (Untidy)

For my debut on this iconic Hard House label I produced 2 Tech House tracks heavily inspired by the Dutch sound of the Nineties. Producing Techno is cool but producing these was so much fun!

4. ‘An Ode To The Rave’ – Rory Marshall & Latour (Bush)

Australian Rory Marshall is the master of minimalistic percussive Tech beats. This one has a break that will take you right back to the fields.

5. ‘Step By Step’ – Christian Smith (Trick)

Christian Smith lands on Patrick Topping’s label and the result gives me life!

6. ‘Freaks Son Di Floor (Nothing Else Matters)’ – Ango Tamarin

Not sure who hides behind this new alias but I’ve been loving everything he does.

7. ‘U Want Some’ – Ben But ( Arcane)

A no-nonsense groove and the same vocal sample used for Felix’s Don’t You Want Me. This works every time I play it.

8.’More Drums Please’ – D-Unity (Unity)

Banging Latin Techno groove. Our Canadian producer is finally back deep in the jungle.

9. ‘Accelerate’ – Uncertain (Tronic)

I’ve been playing a lot of Uncertain stuff in my sets lately. His new EP on Tronic serves up some fierce grooves with this being the most energetic.

10. ‘Carpe Diem’ – Pagano (Tronic)

Another Adam Beyer’s favourite that I released on Christian Smith’s label recently.

Pagano and his OFF LDN crew are joined by guests Frankel & Harper, Jeffrey Hinton and Auntie Maureen takeover the Middle Floor at Egg LDN’s Pride Special takes place on Saturday July 2nd. Club kids of the moment, UokHun? bring their carnage to The Loft with Resident DJs Remi Rose, Rita-lin & Victoria Peckham joined by the UOKHUN? Dancers. On the Ground Floor catch Berlin’s Boris (Ostgut), Cassie Raptor, Kyle E and Wax Wings. Running from 11pm until super late,
