Hey Bluey, a very warm welcome to DMCWORLD! Where in the world are you right now?

Right now, I’m in the best city in the world – a place called London town. Despite the rain, it’s still the best city in the world.

What was the last piece of music you listened to?

The last piece of music that I listened to was a track that i’m producing called ‘Island Girl’.

2017 has been pretty awesome for you so far. You’ve just finished up touring Australia & New Zealand with Fatman Scoop, how was that dude?

The tour in Australia with Scoop was amazing. It was so fun to wake up in a different city each day and work with a different group of people. It was really interesting to watch different crowd reactions to the same track in each city and having thousands of people throwing positive energy at you for 2 hours straight whilst on stage, pretty much every day for a month. It was an amazing feeling. It’s positive energy that you can then take home with you and enjoy. It was a great tour and I learnt a lot from Scoop too.

Following the success of your debut single, a re-work of the 90’s classic ‘U Sure Do’, we hear you’re gearing towards your second single. Tell us more…

My forthcoming second single is a track called ‘This Town’. It’s an original house record, produced by myself and it’s about being young and being in love. If you’ve been fortunate enough to have been in your own little bubble, then you’ll know that all familiar feeling that nothing else matters. But at the same time, when that bubble bursts it’s very painful and often loved ones can hurt each other. The verses talk about being in love and what you want from that relationship, whereas the intro & chorus is about telling your lover that you’re not the only one who’s got feelings in This Town. And of course I’m talking from experience..

You’ve travelled a lot as a DJ, but where has been your favourite place so far?

That is a tough one. My favourite place to be is Ibiza and my favourite place to perform to date is Canberra, Australia. That performance was so lit, the crowd were on a mad one. I loved it, the energy was crazy.

What gets you in the zone for a studio session?

Often it helps if I go into a studio session with a motif. Other than that, a good bit of sunshine outside and some really good food; something healthy followed by some fruit to give me the energy to smash my studio session for the whole day. Positive vibes from the people that I’m working with always helps too.

We hear the third single may be featuring a certain Fatman Scoop. Go on…

The third single could maybe feature a certain Fatman Scoop. I have a few records lined up that feature Scoop but we haven’t decided yet as to which order.

What’s in store for the rest of 2017?

You’re going to see me doing bits in the fashion world as I recently signed to an agency called IMG, so I’m going to be doing a lot of live sets at fashion events & collaborating with brands. I’ve also got two singles that are coming out before the end of the year and I’m producing a lot of tracks for other artists. So look out for my new music and expect some exciting DJ sets worldwide.

Any other DJs/producers who you’re really excited about at the moment?

A couple of producers that I’m feeling at the moment are a collective called Solardo from Manchester. They’ve got banging tracks and had a hit last year called ‘Tribesman’. Their DJ sets are really sick as well.

Thanks for chatting to us. Finally, where would be your dream venue/festival to play in the world?

I would absolutely love to play a set at Tomorrowland. I remember listening back to Laidback Luke’s set from the festival in 2011/2012 and had it on repeat in the gym for about 6 months. It was so energetic and the crowd were so vamped up. That would literally be my dream.
