Universe In Reverse
Wall Of Sound

It’s been 2 years since ‘We Are Not The Infadels’ hit the streets, and now the London 5 piece are set to unleash their second album ‘Universe In Reverse’. You can tell right from the off that the Infadels have really enjoyed the huge amount of gigs they’ve done, tearing it up from Shoreditch to China and back again. ‘Universe In Reverse’ opens with foot on the monitor power chords, before ‘Circus Of The Mad’ takes you on a swaggering strut through street urchin territory, whilst doffing a cap to the Kaiser Chiefs and Big Audio Dynamite. The anthemic ‘Make Mistakes’ is up next, closely followed by the current hit ‘Free Things For Poor People’, which is about as infectious as it gets, a perfect slice of proper pop. ‘Code 1’ has got a certain glam meets Kasabian feel about it, with a rocking 4/4 beat, subtle psychedelics and a chant a long chorus, all set to be another live favourite. ‘Million Pieces’ keeps up the momentum, as does the title cut with layered harmonies over rolling toms, and the closing ‘How To Disappear’ goes out with a blast. Infadels have matured into festival headliners, and with Youth on production, ‘Universe In Reverse’ is a great result.
