The original mix of “Never Stop” has been branded “This summer’s finest piano driven slice of disco” according to Rough Trade Shops, and I’ve got to say I thoroughly agree. Loving the Balearic schmooze and the building old school acid orgazmatron. Then you got the clever clever slightly cynical rap, which also works a treat in an ill fitting suit. The remix comes courtesy of Phantasy mastermind Erol Alkan, who pitches up the tempo and delivers a fat acid house number that Bam Bam would be proud of. Gonzales “Never Stop” is a future classic. Marvelous.
