Three razzers from Brazil courtesy of Eduardo Marotte kicking off with ’Everybody’, a tracky workout of shouty vocals, funk steals, stepping bline and filtered stabs meeting the neccesary peak time requirements. Two versions of ’The King’ with more or less vocals is a straight to the point disco dice up that’ll blow the pants off unsuspecting rug cutters. Proper saturday night feelgood funk action done right. ’Phonk Promises’ cuts up jazzy constituents to deliver murky rhodes chops with haunted jazz shades of detroit cut up action. Fine work indeed.
