‘My Patch’ wags its finger with the same pomp as ‘Eany Meany’, Noir’s mop-top folk-pop sweetness having the knack of saying what everybody’s thinking. He doesn’t blurt it out, but the ooh & ahh of ‘Computer Song’ quickly makes him a technophobe’s idol, and his throwaway wisdom makes wily sense is guaranteed to ‘Turn Your Frown into a Smile’.
