Ivan Latyshev is a Russian producer whose sonic output rather belies the cold and chill country from which he hails. In place of frozen synths and sparse drums are warm and humid melodies, inviting drums and plenty of sun kissed stylings. Here he serves up two more such jams that come complete with some handy remixes.
Simple Minds is a swaying, chord laced and loungey affair that begs to be played next to the pool. It rocks to and fro like a gentle July breeze and really works its way under your skin with is nice musicality. The Wild Culture remix is a subtle reversioning that pairs things back just enough to make them even deeper and more suited to late night sessions. Giom meanwhile layers in plenty of energy infusing arpeggiated synth lines that keep on elevating the track to new heights. Womans Issues is the other original and this one is another lively affair with plenty of breezy chords, lolloping percussion lines and invitingly laid back drums. It closes out what is a perfectly sun kissed and heat baked EP for this time of year.
