It’s not as if you need reminding how HIGHLY I rate Galantis. I name drop them practically every week. Why ? Well, that marvellous marriage of Miike Snow’s Christian Karlsson and Style of Eye’s Linus Eklow’s collective know how has had me enraptured since last year’s ‘Smile’ and I haven’t been disappointed with any of the Eps since then. ‘You’ surfaces from the record company release schedule armed with a tearing, downtempo to uptempo, Calvin Harris meets Skrillex influenced, house meets dubstep rewiring from Brillz. Tiesto and Twoloud go for the anthemic, festival, rabble-rousing flavour whilst Tom Staar rolls out the undulating, progressive beats like the magic carpet under Aladdin’s feet. There are mixes also from Wax Motif and Ivan Gough and Jebu if you are looking for further variations on the power podium packers theme. Good work all round.
