Always on the innovative party curve, Soul Heaven return for their second Ibiza summer season of their hot weekly pool parties in thelavish surroundings of the Ocean Beach Club. Relaxing on beach beds, cooling off in the pool or enjoying cocktails as you listen to soulful tunes on a perfect balearic afternoon, Soul Heaven is what Saturday afternoons and evenings in Ibiza were made for. Playing the freshest sounds and cutting edge music to a switched on party crowd from around the world, Soul Heaven showcases house music in its widest definition with a celebrated ‘Best of British’ line up that features icons of dance music in the shape of Norman Jay MBE , Joey Negro, and Grant Nelson. Leading the Brit pack is the FIRST British DJ to be awarded an MBE on merit for “deejaying and services to music” and one of the A Lister’s most celebrated DJs, Norman Jay, who is Soul Heaven’s monthly resident DJ.

1. ‘Right Back’ – Dr Meaker feat Sian Evans
A driving drum & bass anthem that makes clever use of a sample from 80’s disco group, Dynasty. Great vocal-based track tailor made for my summer sessions.
2.’Womyn’ – The Floasist
One half of the talented Floetry duo, South London rapper Floatist delivers an infectious feminine history lesson over a ridiculously funky baseline. UK Hip hop dance at its best.
3. ‘Beat Within’ – Rhemi feat. Cassius Henry
I’ve been playing this house groover since the start of the year. A real vocal winner that fires up my dancefloors. A summer house anthem in the making from the UK’s Rhemi crew.
4. ‘Love Strong’ – Moon Boots
A lot of people missed this when it came out late last year and it’s been bubbling under for me ever since. Bang on the button for an Ibiza summer. Without doubt my type of housed up nu disco.
5. ‘I Can See’ – Jazzanova feat. Ben Westbeech
Another big house remix that works a treat on any discerning dancefloor, especially in Ibiza. Been a long time admirer of both these artists and this one hits the spot.
6. ‘Hold Tight ‘- Change
A classic that just has to be spun. Although there are some great re edits of this around, I always play the original 12″. A real summer disco anthem which still rocks my crowds worldwide. Released on WEA Records.
7. ‘Spare Change’ – David Owen
This is another quality drum & bass tune that’s jazzy and again makes clever and melodious use of some rare northern soul samples, the originals of which I still play to this day. It’s a musical fusion that meshes old and new in serious funky style with great guitar sounds.
8. ‘No One’ K-Asia Remix – Maxwell
This is a cleverly edited house version of a great artist that’s so organic and so funky. Perfect for summer. One of my ‘shhh’ revivals!
9. ‘He Holds You, He loves You’ – Circadian Rhythm Orchestra
This is one of my faves tunes of the moment, It’s a UK drum & bass tune that’s simply amazing. Contains yet another clever rare groove sample utilised to stunning effect. Another one of my exclusive ‘shhh’ DnB selections.
10. ‘Funky Kingston’ – Toots & The Maytals
Got to go for some reggae, and this is one of my favourite tracks from Toots. In my sets music goes wherever the Good Times sounds go and it can be anything from 60s Northern soul to house to rare groove to reggae as seen here. Been including it in my summer sets once again and it’s bubbling over (once again!).
