Sweden’s Carl-Henrik Hallen & Daniel Nordh formed Kompis back in 1999. They released their debut EP on their own Greve Recordings, & it wasn’t long before Norway’s Telle records got involved, which caught the attention of Rob Da Bank, & Hey Presto! Sunday Best have got a Kompis mini album in the bag. What we’ve got here is a limited edition 7″ of two cuts from the said forthcoming LP. “Go Down” features the extra vocal talents of Markus Hasselblom, gently drifting on a chilled poptastic groove, sprinkled with a coat of shimmering stardust. Meanwhile “The Rider” on the flip takes a sparser electro pop route. You’re gonna be hearing a lot of Kompis this summer
