House music will never die, that is for sure. It comes in so many different shapes and sizes, shades and sounds that you can forearm reinvent the wheel and the dance will never stop. Next up to add his own flavour to the tried and tested genre is Neil Daruwala who pays great heed to house music’s roots with his one track single on 69 Street Records. Entitled ‘The Creator’ it is a killer cut.
Starting with icy hi hats, it has a classic vocal sample “I am the creator” rolling over deep, sultry drums. Warming pads flow next to the groove to keep it extra cuddly and the drums are well pronounced and keep the whole thing going along at a fine tempo. Some great effects and reverb add depth and scale and all in all this one is an essential bit of house that will bring people together on the floor, make no mistake.
