If you like your house knicker-strippingly sleazy, with haunting, indecipherable vocal moan, breathing and swelling bass, speaker cone buzzing bass and an 80’s electro, plucked synth chinese sounding melody then ‘Scream’ will intrigue and enthrall you. Teenage Mutants go for a chugging Moroder-esque slo-mo disco workout that makes black leather chaps and metal ringed harnesses look like children’s wear. And finally Hacker and Miethig take it darker and deeper still with an industrial strength, growling dark techno epiphany with clashing cymbals to herald in their apocalyptic vision. It’s a scream, in an Edvard Munch kind of way.
