Returning with three brand new tracks to her own label Brouqade sees the artist deliver music high on soul and distinction. ‘case sensitive’ begins the release with an exercise in understated though compelling sounds that effortlessly glide in-between the crisp drums creating life affirming atmosphere’s care off a selection of warm chords. The more probing, ‘I’m Surprised What’s Real’ gets all the more intense via insistent snares and moody pads creating a rich ambience that you won’t be able to leave alone. Finally, it’s the turn of the title track, ‘Yardang’ to get altogether darker with agitated percussion supplying a sense of unease alongside occasional voices and sprinkles of synthesizer.
