First off this isnt your straight up Drum & Bass track, more of a breakbeat – happy hardcore hybrid. Hmmmm, its hard to sum this up… I really like pendulums production especially on his D&B tracks, this however I don’t. I can see the appeal with a massive festival crowd in front of you, drop this and it will make them go crazy.. But it isn’t making new ground in dance music, Drum & Bass is in great danger of going up the cheesey commercial road and this could do some damage. It will be on top of the pops and then go out of fasion in the same way UK Garage did… So all you producers using the same old Mentasm, Dominator, Techno kicked samples don’t encourage it and keep it real.
