Darius Syrossian – Hanns Trippy (Do Not Sleep)
If you have seen Darius Syrossian DJ anywhere recently then you might well have heard this new tune. He has been caning it for a while and it has been getting truly great reactions on the floor whenever it is played. Now it gets launched officially as the first release on a brand new label from Do Not Sleep, which is a well respected party out in Ibiza that had a fine season in 2015 and has also got some parties planned in the UK in the latter stages of the year. Up first is Hans Trippy, which is the massive track in question. It is robust, tough and cut from rock with its organ style, humid chords and tumbling drum fills. The kicks are solid, firmly rooted things that really will make floors go wild. It is another classic form a true tunesmith and then coms two solid remixes. The first is from Cuartero and is a subtle rework of the original that layers in more trippy synths and freaky voices and has barreling bass down low to power it along. The next one is from Nathan Barato and he totally flips the script by injecting lots of synth lines that are naughty and freaky and late night and yet he retains the same killer grooves from the drums. This is a fresh house package that has lots to offer all DJs and dancers and start off this new label in style.
