Yes it’s been around for yonks, topped nearly ever dance chart and been in the boxes of leading DJs long enough to have circled the globe several times over. What started life as a single-sided twelve almost a year ago with Errol Reid’s falsetto pleas to feel the vibe now comes of age with a super-sized remix package and a plethora of new versions from Seamus Haji, Kurtis Mantronik, DJ Flex & Sandy Wilhelm and Mike Di Scala. There’s now also a full-blown song, but surprisingly Reid takes second billing to ex-Planet Funk songstress Tara. It works but I can’t help thinking Errol Reid singing it would’ve main more sense on the continuity stakes. Still the topline thankfully doesn’t sound like an afterthought as so many instrumentals-turned-into-songs can and for that alone Data should keep up their impressive strike rate.
