As with ‘Shorter Shorter’, time is of the essence for Field Music, laying further claim to their name with this three-tracker of good-old-days pop played from under a tipped sunhat while relaxing under a tree. ‘In the Kitchen’ reclines beneath the sky after a Wearside weekend chasing rainbows, and ‘Feeding the Birds’ upholds their sepia-toned sound with shards of violin.
