STRANGEST THINGS
FINE

‘Strangest Things’ was one of the top sleeper albums of last year, a heady blend of pop songs with attitude, so good to see its profile raised once again. In truth the repackaging doesn’t need the makeweight disc of remixes, as the album speaks on its own terms. ‘Eeeeaaooww’ still sounds fantastic, a great pop song, the title track retains its hugely uplifting chorus and with ‘Shake’ the band cater for the cigarette lighter wavers at gigs, the ‘oohs’ of the gospel choir the perfect accompaniment to Nick Decosemo’s impassioned vocal. Go forth and purchase, if you didn’t first time around!
