Two authorities in ambience wait until everyone else has gone home to nomadically hone their piercing austerity. Playing to the campfire’s dying embers and aided by Caroline Moss’ vocals embodying the cold night air, ‘Path Fades Into Forest’ bids to cleanse souls and shake asses ever so gently, a solitary hurried moment amongst an unrest jittered by voodoo chimes and reverbed effects that pan round to creep into earshot. Cathartic pianos and slow-hand guitars tremble around an empty arena to recreate the tumbleweed-dotted wilderness Rothko & Yokota call home, breathing out atmospherics headed straight for your shiver sensors.
