Voiced by Leon Williams dwelling above the doldrums as if too cool to suffer a broken heart, ‘Travesty’ is broken beat soul bringing a blur of quick-limbed percussion to smart-casual pianos and fizzy stabs. T Roy and Dinah Derby go deep into the evening’s proceedings with brooding backroom funk, brought back out into the sunshine by Soulmotion’s Latino guitar hammock-house.
