Frank Ocean –  Thinkin Bout You

When I heard this for the first time I realized how simple and beautiful a song can be and it inspired me to start writing my own music.

The Weeknd –  Wicked Games

Dark but catchy songwriting, sad melodies, and falsetto… definitely one of my biggest influences.

Jon Bellion –  All Time Low (remix) ft. Stormzy

The way Jon Bellion approaches songwriting is brilliant, and another dope UK link up with Stormzy on the 2nd verse.

A-SHO

Despite being born and raised in a musical household in Montreal, Canada, Adam Shomer aka. A-SHO didn’t plan on a career in music. During his time at university in Boston on a basketball scholarship, he found his musical chops after auditioning for a place as a beatboxer in his university’s acapella group. Adam traded time on the basketball court for time in the studio and A-SHO was born.

Previously releasing tracks on major dance labels such as Armada and Revealed Recordings, A-SHO catapulted into the public eye in 2015, with ‘On My Way’, a breezy summer collaboration with UK-based producer XYPO. A solid display of A-SHO’s effortless vocal abilities, the single scored over 3 million plays on Spotify alone. Hailed as a ‘One To Watch’ by revered Canadian radio station, Rogers Radio, A-SHO’s new single, ‘Feel Something’ marks an exciting chapter for for the singer, as he’s now signed to Sony Music Entertainment Canada.  An artist to watch in 2018, A-SHO is the hottest export to come from Canada in recent times.
