Bell X1 are an Irish outfit that are huge in their own country, where their second album ‘Flock’ went straight to number 1 in it’s first week of release. However what we’ve got here is the Chicken Lips remixes of forthcoming single ‘Flame’, & it’s uncanny how much it sounds like ‘Fear Of Music’ era Talking Heads, complete with quirky lyrics ‘I wanna be near you & blink in your light, & toast Marshmellows on a cold dark night – Light on the one who’s shadows you’re standing in, under the branches after it’s been raining’. This is Chicken Lips’ best work to date & it comes with their trademark dub on the flip.
