After an extremely impressive ending to 2005, The Young Knives kick off 2006 with their second, but first fully fledged single release for Transgressive Records, the idiot dancing ‘Here Comes The Rumour Mill’, which has got certain elements of post punk Britain off to a tee, as soon as the half spoken vocal follows the quirky rhythms & guitar riffs, into an explosive chorus, you can’t help but think of Wire & XTC, which in my book can only be a good thing. The Young Knives are definitely worth keeping an eye on.
