When a name like Jazztronik lands on your doormat it is time to get excited… He seems to blend his jazz with electronika with ease making it very easy on the year and heavy on the dancefloors, this is a sampler to the new LP so I would just search out the CD as this label can be a little hard to track down. Dento de Min is a highlight with Brazil’s top vocalist Flora Purim, a lovely mix of new and retro vibes with that ceeky asian twist. South of the Border is another fave with Rob Gallagher on the vibe with some great catchy vocal nestled in the Jazztronik’s land of Bossa, beats and bleeps.
