THE B-52’S
MESOPOTAMIA REMIXES
PLANET CLIQUE

Precursors of a party dance sound packed with fun, rocky vibes, The B-52’s unfortunately hardly ever get the recognition they deserve, so it’s with great excitement that one should welcome this series of remixes.  After a first EP a few months back, here are more fresh yet quite radical remixes of some of their finest moments. ‘Mesopotamia’, their classic ’82 album produced by David Byrne is their their funkiest effort and contains several gems such as ‘Cake’, ‘Loveland’ and the title track – all tweaked here for today’s electro-house-ish floors by the likes of Rob Mello, Major Tweaks and Manhattan Clique. Last but not least Danny Krivit provides one of his legendary re-edit.
