Nashville’s not the first place that comes to mind when discussing house music, but the duo of Todd Robins and Hunter Williams are putting it on the map with their atmospheric debut album. The record falls gently under the spell of the 80s, with a bit of Groove Armada thrown in, and after a light start it begins to assert itself with a couple of moody vocal tracks that feature excellent contributions from Jennifer Morrison. Aside from a couple of ill-judged raps and an iffy drum and bass track, this is an accomplished debut from country music’s capital city.
