‘Love Like Semtex’ is one of the stand out cuts to be lifted from the critically acclaimed debut album. ‘We Are Not The Infadels’ in it’s original Jagz Kooner produced state, it’s the Infadels doing what they do best, rocking out with club sensibilities, that’ll have Hard-Fi quaking in their boots. First up on the remix front is Switzerland’s Headman, staying close to the original, but adding an analogue tweaking bass that gets driven home by beefed up drums. Next up is West London Deep, they transform ‘Love Like Semtex’ into a dub house trip, where old school influences jostle with new school sounds, sending the dance floor well & truly into one. The final mix comes from the name to drop at the moment ‘Metronomy’ who keep the song and bring their trademark sea shanty madness to the table, making the whole thing sound like one helluva drunken party. Right then so that‚s all bases covered, just watch this go.
