I’ve gotta say I‚m surprised it’s taken as long as it has for someone to do a house version of Soft Cell’s ‘Torch’. Margot delivers a very breathy and sexy vocal, over tough heavy drums and driving electronics, resulting in a bit of a Danny Tenaglia meets Gina X vibe. Druggy & sleazy all the way, just how we like it. Meanwhile Extrawelt spin it right out, sending the vocals into another dimension and giving it a techno feel, with plenty of effects and atmospherics. Both mixes cut the mustard.
