DJ/Producer David Bau from Mexico started his music career in 2009 releasing his first EP on We Are Here Records. In 2011 he started his own label called Amorpho Records to mainly release his productions. Inspired by artists such as James Holden, Paul Kalkbrenner and Pig&Dan, his music has a deep warm and groovy Techno combined with emotive melodies.David´s tracks have seen the light by being released in labels like Mace Plex´s Ellum Audio, Pig&Dan´s ELEVATE, A.Paul´s Naked Lunch Records, Bleur&MB1´s NoLove Records and TRAX Records. I used to listen to this tune in the mornings on my way to school. It was the only song that stood out to me on the radio, because it sounded so different to everything else.

One of the first vinyls I had, I just loved that dark bass at the beginning. I even sampled it and used it on one of my tracks a couple of years ago.

I heard this on a T.V. show and immediately looked it up. Such an incredible production.

Such a simple song but with such an incredible feeling from the vocals and the instruments, I still have the tape.
Faithless – Insomnia
The iconic riff on this tune changed everything for me; from then on I got hooked on weird electronic sounds. The full album is a jewel.

I would listen to this on repeat for hours. Still to this day I listen to it at home and wonder, how in the world did he make that synth sound?
H-Man – 51 Poland Street (Extrawelt Remix)
This was the one that made me want to make music so it is very special to me. The movement of the synth line amazes me every time I listen to it.
Maceo Plex, Odd Parents – Learn To Fly (Maceos´s Flight Home Mix)
Try this on rainy days, such a trip. Played it at the end of a gig and the reaction from the crowd was amazing.
Nathan Fake – Narrier
I just can’t get enough of this track, completely different from everything out there. This is “trance” for me: simple, repetitive but ever evolving.
