Every now and then a tune comes along with an idea so obvious but not yet done that it just screams hugeness. The latest missile from the rapidly-rising Punx appropriates the shipping forecast! Not an exciting prospect,sure, but it’s cut and spliced so well for maximum effect it could spark a new dance craze! The reader’s stentorian tones are planted over a dirty, kicking dirty house groove which itself presses the right carnage buttons. The original is the killer but there are also tasty remixes from Ben Braund grunging up Gary Numan riffs and Phonat in electro-breaks mode. Sensibly it also has a radio edit. I forecast complete mayhem, golden showers and sore rectal areas here.
