Catchy and pleasing single from the Sheffield based Grandadbob outfit. Labels being hurriedly thrown at them include balearic and folk, and whilst not inaccurate, the fact is it’s just a good pop song with some neat individualist twists. Neon Heights give it a tougher backbeat and tidy up some of the lose strands, allowing vocalist Ness to truly shine over a strong backing. Most, however, will be drawn to the slo-mo discoid trip from the up and coming Quiet Village. They space it out completely, indulging the song over nearly eleven minutes of ear nourishing sounds that practically out-cosmic Baldelli. Marvellous. Thoroughly recommended, whichever mix you settle on.
