Kraak en Smaak’s debut album Boogie Angst was always a tempting proposition, but now it’s been re-released with a bag of remixes in to where’s really no excuse for not getting it now. The album still sounds fresh as a daisy, with bags of funk and humour in tracks like ‘Money In The Bag’ or ‘Keep On Searching’, while the lazy ‘Dante Macabre’ mops up at the jazzy end. The remixes aren’t redundant cash-ins, either, with Mark Rae, Sharam Jey and Crazy P all making valuable contributions.
