From Windsor, Ontario, but based in London, Heidi is an indie kid turned techno ambassador and cut her teeth at the Monza, first in Frankfurt then Ibiza. Her mix outing is deep and flowing with many highlights. She knows her stuff, kicking off with Carl Craig’s mix of Maurizio’s ‘Domina’ working in gems by names including Kerri Chandler [the lusciously bottomless ‘Downtown’], wonderful label-mates Fuckpony, Cobblestone Jaxzz, Marc Houle, Alex Under and her own deep techno killer team up with Riton ‘Vejer’. Through out she establishes a glistening, shiny vibe which wafts over the propulsively understated by contagious grooves. It all ends fittingly on Erol Alkan’s rework of Hot Chip’s ‘Boy From School’, a lovely electro ballad. An intoxicating journey.
