To celebrate 10 years in business, award-winning online music store Juno Records are releasing ten classic tracks with spanking new remixes. What better way to start than with this bona-fide earth-mover from 1996? A record which belched forth and left a trail of steaming dancefloors with its jumpingly melodic bassline and Chic-style euphoria stoked by those gorgeous strings, That’s here and, on the 12, accompanied by a major treatment from none other than Carl Craig, a man who tends to do his remixes for love of a great track. He goes for a typically long build with fuzzy, nagging synth riff and a gradual ushering in for the full effect of those strings. It’s a Craig classic which means I need say no more. There’s also a trio of mixes from Jerome Sydenham and Tiger Stripes who go for different takes on a joyful boogie celebration with obviously berserk effect on the dancefloor.
